About Us

We exist to glorify God by building mature Christians in the faith and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ so that all are complete in him.

We are a Christ-centered church serving the Lord as He enables through the power of the Holy Spirit. We compassionately seek to meet the needs of others through love and service in order to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will be true to the Bible and diligent in study as we strive to fulfill the purpose that God calls.

Giving

The tithes and offerings that you make to The Rock Church make a difference to our church, our community, and the people in the area surrounding King, NC. There are various ways you can donate. We collect tithes and offerings during Sunday worship service and electronic giving is available for 24/7 donations. “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops” (Proverbs 3:9).

BigHouse Youth meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday's of each month from 4pm-7pm. We also have Bible Study on Wednesday night at 7pm, and currently are combined with adults for the Names of God Bible study.

As The Rock Church continues to grow we are in need of more volunteers to fill the gaps in the different ministries we offer. We are looking for someone to help with sound, people to help in the children ministry, First touch(greeters, ushers, and road crew), and cleaning the church. The BigHouse youth we need volunteers and are searching for a Youth Pastor/leader. Please pray about all these different opportunities and reach out to Bobby Comer if you would are willing to help out in any of these areas.

Men’s Ministry Team

We are just a bunch guys who love Jesus and want to bond together as brothers in Christ, we meet at different times so be on the lookout for the the next men’s gathering. Progress of Redemption: God’s Plan through the Ages

This is a brand new Bible Study that will take you on a journey from Genesis through Revelation. You will learn about God’s redemptive plan for us all, and discover that God’s plan for Jesus goes all way back to Genesis, in the very beginning. This new study will begin on February 21st @ 6:30pm.
